Glenn Sapir is a Putnam Valley resident, a lifelong sportsman in the Hudson Valley and a career-long outdoor communicator. His travels as freelance writer/photographer, outdoors correspondent for The Journal News and editor for Field & Stream (18 years), Outdoor Life, Sports Afield and New York Sportsman magazines have taken him to 46 of the 50 states, throughout New York state, and to Europe, the Amazon and above the Arctic Circle.

Glenn has authored books on the outdoors, including "Secrets of the Turkey Pros" and "Huntin' Camp Journal."

He has been active in professional communicator groups, currently serving on the board of directors of the New York State Outdoor Writers Association and formerly serving as president of both the Outdoor Writers Association of America and the New York Metropolitan Outdoor Press Association. He has written hundreds of magazine and newspaper articles, many of which have garnered him awards for writing and photography from these associations.
