Nursing Spectrum, a Gannett Company, Acquires NurseWeek
from Jobson Publishing, LLC
Two leading nursing communications companies join to offer the most
comprehensive mix of nursing recruitment services, continuing education, and
cutting-edge editorial content for RNs.
HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL and SUNNYVALE, CA- Nursing Spectrum and NurseWeek, two industry leaders in the nursing recruitment, information, and education industry, announced today an agreement in which Nursing Spectrum, a division of Gannett Co., Inc. (NYSE: GCI), has acquired NurseWeek from Jobson Publishing, LLC.
Patti Rager, RN, MSN, MBA, president and publisher of Nursing Spectrum, said: ÒWe are pleased to bring together these two nationally-known and highly-respected nursing communication companies. Our combined continuing education division, which includes self-study programs, study tours, books and seminars, will now comprise an even more comprehensive package of CE services for RNs.

Ray Riordan will assume the position of senior vice president of advertising, Western region, Nursing Spectrum.
